The Mental health counselor is primarily responsible for managing grant deliverable, conducting individual counseling in English and Spanish, including engagement, crisis-intervention, and referrals with an emphasis on clients with co-occurring mental health diagnoses seeking prevention counseling. Volunteers must commit to at least three 3 to six 6 hours each week, and make a six month commitment. Programs such as both a young men's and a young women's discussion group, a gender exploration group, a safe schools network, a yearly summer camp and a variety of support groups are available to youth free of charge.
